Hey, so I was bored and found this link on MSN that talked about the next hip vacation spots that are less likely to break the bank. In the Mexico/Central and South American section it mentioned each of the cities with information about why it's the next... and why it is cheaper that the regular vacation hot spots. smile

Join the military. You get all kind of great trips! Actually we have Armed Forces Vacation Club. We can stay just about anywhere in the world for a week all inclusive for like 399.00. It's just being home to take advantage of it that is hard. smile

Phil, it's getting the time off for you that's the hard part! - --Mariana--, Oct 22, 2009
Ja! I agree with you Marianne, I bet he never takes time off! - LAtINaPunKROcKerAConFundidA, Oct 22, 2009
Somehow I think what I consider a 'great trip' and what seitheach's 'MILITARY great trip' is, is coompletely different... I like to sit on my bum. :) - cheeseisyummy, Oct 22, 2009

I'm going to Oaxaca (southern Mexico) for the month of January to study Spanish...it's going to be great, especially when Massachusetts is buried in four feet of snow!

Talk about cheap? My classes are five hours a day (three hours of grammar and two hours of conversation) and include pottery, weaving, salsa, etc. classes and cost only $110 per week. My housing costs $24 per day and includes three home-cooked meals.

Hey Marianne:

Is this with the "don Quijote" program?

If so let me know.
