any good equivalent for "overview"?

any good equivalent for "overview"?

This is for a presentation in which the speaker wants to put up a slide with an outline of what will follow. He has "overview" in the original version. "Resumen" is okay but not great as it is before the presentation rather than a summing-up at the end. Thanks.

Thanks Moe! I don't have the rep to vote, but I was trying to give a thumbs up on Moe's answer. I like "esquema del curso" best because it makes me sound smarter. Plan del curso is probably more accurate for how I'll be using "overview," so I'll mix and match whenever it comes up. In the Esquema/Plan del curso, I'll be talking about and mentioning the "objetivos del curso."

Again, Thanks Moe!

It sounds to me as though you are looking for a way to say:

Course Outline (en español, "plan del curso"/"esquema del curso"), or

Course Objective (en español, "Objetivo del curso) .

And remembering that slides are usually abbreviated and do not need to be grammatically correct and full, a slide that just says:

"Objetivo" -- or -- "Plan" -- or -- "Esquima"

any of these should work.

I think you mean "Esquema" - 00e657d4, Oct 26, 2009

Also could be: Visión general or Descripción general.

The site's dictionary shows the last one.
