I was thinking about a similar thread, we called them "Falsos Amigos" back in college.
embarazada=pregnant (not embarassed)
atender=can mean to assist someone, asistir=to attend (in an event, etc.)
In Filipino, we even use the word seguro to mean "maybe, perhaps", which is almost the opposite in Spanish.
I always learned these words as "false cognates"... the only one that I can think of right now is "Molestar" which does NOT mean "to molest" but rather, "to annoy."
Qué hay de la palabra "enorgullecerse de" ---to be proud of. Me gusta mucho porque mis niños me enorgullecen con sus notas en escuela.
