What is the context to use "amiguita"... the "google translate" function says "girlfriend" !!!
I understand "novia" is a girlfriend, and that "amiguita" is appropriate for a little girl, meaning more or less, my dear friend, or my precious... in a fatherly child-like context, not a romantic connection...
Any takers?
