Well, to me zoos are dreadful, not because I don't like animals (it's just the opposite, in fact) but because I can hardly look at all these cages and sometimes very neglected animals, which don't know what freedom is, or, what's even worse, used to know that... But of cousre each of us takes kids to the zoo, I was taken there as well...

I agree with bomber, but zoos can also be a place for learning for our youngsters. I am majoring in Spanish so that I can work in places with endangered animals, como el oso perezoso!! The sloth is my fave animal in the world!!

Mi animal favorito es el(?) platypus. Es un animal muy extraño. Se viven en los riachuelos in Australia. He lo ha visto un platypus solamente un vez en un lugar se llama "Little Hartley" en los montañas azules. Es mas dificil para verlos porque el platypus es muy reservada y tambien en peligro de extinción.

Me hijo le gustan mucho las suricatas ( meerkats in English).Me gustan las tambien,pero pienso que me animal favorito es el delfín (hemos visto delfines en sus hábitat natural, en Tenerife.)

Me encanta pasar el día sola al parque zoológico sin amigo. Puedo quedarme media hora frente unos animalos que me interesan por su personalidad o aspecto físico. Es mucho más divertido que un caminata en el parque cualquiera.

Me encanta los monos mucho pero.... I wish the animals were kept in a better condition and it makes me sad to see their plight. They should have more freedom.
