Where can I practice online? Chat rooms?
Was wondering how and where I can practice my Spanish online through chatting.

If you click on the "more" tab on the blue tool bar above you will see a chat option. Personally I think I might invite someone to meet me there. I have peeked throught the door of that room at times and the conversational quality is pretty unpredictable.
I say espanglishchat.com. The chat here is nice too, but there always isn´t people. At that chat, there is always about 30 people 24-7. I have found several pen pals there too.
I've used Second Life a few times. It's an online game. Once you've figured out how to use the game in English, search for places in the game with Spanish speakers. I put Español or España in the search box, for example. The great thing about it is that I can connect my microphone and either talk to other people in the game directly or type.
After I get a little more comfortable with my Spanish, I have been thinking about going to a local Spanish Church. Since I am WASP, I'll probably contact the Clergy and introduce myself so as to avoid stepping on toes. Personally, I am not religious, but I live in a area large enough to host Spanish speaking churches.
Church has an advantage that I can go listen and as I get brave, start to speak at the social hour.
Does anyone have similar ideas of local community involvement?
