How would you say "boo ya!" in the Spanish speaking world?

My students asked how I might say this and I told them an exclamation like "boo yah!" doesn't really translate, but now I'm curious. What might Spanish speakers use as a similar exclamation? (Boo yah! is generally a positive exclamation. It can be used when you best a friend in a game for example.)

You mean "bulla" meaning noise?......wait a minute you mean "boo, you"?

well, then of course the translation would be (among many) abajo contigo ...in real life it would be a dirty word which starts with the letter P meaning homosexual.

Disclaimer, In language there are no absolutes.

Isn't it : "Ay de mi?" Because "ay" means oh, and "hay" means there is/there are. I might be wrong though. :) - june10, Oct 16, 2009

Who says that? Who talks like that? I might just have to agree with Moe and start looking at people's profiles to see where they are talking from! wink
