Word of the Day (delito): Reading Selections

Here are some short articles that I thought might be helpful to give some context and show different ways in which delito, the word of the day, is used by journalists and writers.

This article shows how delito relates in the context of cargos menores y cargos más graves: Monserrate culpable de delito menor

This article from el pais uses the term in the context of delitos urbanísticos: El Supremo archiva la denuncia contra Juncal por la plaza de España de Ferrol

Another short article that uses the term several times: El juez de Jaca imputa a tres policías nacionales por delitos contra la Administración de Justicia

If anyone else has any useful links, please feel free to post them below grin

This is great information for really helping us to focus in on an absorb the "Word of the Day". You could be on to something. Maybe we can make it our goal each day to post as much as possible (when it applies) to the daily word. We could use serious info, like you just did, something funny or anything in between. I think this would really increase our ability to retain new vocabulary.

Any thoughts?

I agree. I think that looking at something from as many angles as possible helps to reinforce and help us to better understand it. - Izanoni1, OCT 16, 2009
