Here at SpanishDict.com, the website makes it easy for you and you can just click on the symbol at the bottom of the typing area to insert the upside down question mark. On an English website, how do I insert an upside down question mark?

Hi jcllsh,

You can change your language settings on your computer and modify your keyboard layout to include the option for a Spanish or Latin-American layout. There are several articles on this site that discuss how this is done if you are unfamiliar (if you are using windows then I believe that there is a tutorial for this with microsoft as well under language settings). Here is a link to a page that has several categories of useful information about getting the most out of this site including changing your language settings.

very simple and useful method, applying also for other spanish characters como ñ, ú etc. is to use "Answer this question" field on this page. You choose the character from the lower frame, and when it appears in the main field, you copy it (ctrl+c) and paste (ctrl+v) wherever you want. Or you can copy characters from any text and paste it. ¿Fácil, no?

Try Alt + 0191. Depress the Alt key while keying the numbers, 0191. Hopefully that will give you the character you want. Look into character map in your search function. Different fonts might have different command functions for the non-english alphabet characters. ¿, oh look, it worked!

google Bates College Language Rescource Center. It is a college in Maine.

There is a tab called Multilingual Computing on that page. It shows key combinations for a variety of punctuation marks utilized by a variety of programs.

Sorry I don't have an exact link.
