How do you say "Made up of"?

I'm making a slideshow for a spanish project, and I need to know how to say "Made up of", as in the city was made up of buildings.

compuesto/compuesta, made up of, literally. La ciudad esta compuesta de edificios. The city is made up of buildings. Or, una ciudad esta compuesta de edificios. A city is made up of buildings.
