I work for a food bank in Yakima WA and used "El Amo de Casa". I would get unexpected results (baby girl, wife, etc.), (implying The Beloved of the House). Discussing this with a friend, I was told that he used "El Primero de Casa" (implying the First of the House) for the purpose of identifying head of household.

The head of anything es la Cabeza, just like in english. I don't mean to be cross with Joe, I'm just speaking from my place, where I live. Also, La Dama De La Casa, would signify esto. wink I think La Dama De La Casa would be mas relejada then saying La Cabeza de la casa....the latter, the second phrase, is just a little too professional. wink
