S/he means a very good friend I believe.

Best friend: mejor amig@

(very) Good friend: (muy) buen amig@

Might you mean "very good friend", "very close friend" or "best friend" (special friend can mean a lover, though usually without a commitment, so be careful with that one) But are you looking for what to say in English or en español?

What does "emphasis friend" mean? I've never heard that phrase before. Do you mean "best friend"? (Su mejor amigo/a)

I think it's easier to type the word in the translation box than to post a question & wait for someone to provide the translation for you.
