Would the concept of a 3" x 5" "index card" translate directly into Spanish as "una tarjeta de indice"?

"Tarjetas índices" or "tarjetas para índices" is what they are labeled when you buy them at the store, but the dictionary on this site lists ficha as the definition. Interestingly, in French they are referred to as "cartes fiches."
