Are you sure it's not Cómo? The accent mark makes it a different word entirely.

Cómo eres means "What are you like"....probably with a ? at the end.

Have you studied the verb Ser yet?

como eres = as you are

¿cómo eres? = what are you like?

I vote for "What are you like"? That sounds like a "spanish one" thing to learn.

Ah, sorry, I assumed since the person said he/she was in Spanish 1 that the accent was just left out.

Without the accent, wouldn't it mean "like you are", rather than "What are you like"? Maybe I misunderstand your second comment. - jrey0474, Oct 12, 2009
