One of my favorite words!!! It means "figure it out" 
Fijate bien...yo hablo como hablo, yo soy que soy, lo que es otra cosa. This says something like "figure it...I speak how I speak, I am what I am, which is something different." You might say to your little brother or sister..."Fijate bien esto...no tocas mis cosas" Which says, You had better figure out not to touch my things.
