I know pajaros and aves both mean birds. Can you use either interchangably, or do they each have special meanings and uses?

Hello Moe, you used 'Recuerdos', would 'en lo que respecta' be inter-changeable? - Zoltán, Oct 8, 2009
Zoltán-¡Hola!. Pienso, no. Double click on each of these words, "recuerdos" (Sp), "regard" (En) and "regarding" (En). When the smaller blue window opens, click on the word on the left side of the window. - Moe, Oct 8, 2009
For me, "Recuerdos" seems to mean best personal wishes or what is said in English, my regards to you. The other two words seem to have more of the meaning you are asking about. - Moe, Oct 8, 2009

My Spanish prof. (he's from Mexico, so he's very familiar with the finer uses of the language) said that they are used interchangeably. However, it may vary be region.
