Can writing informal Spanish be OK?

Hell I'm young and I'm fairly new to SpanishDict.com and to a particular Spanish country.I noticed that Spanish is very different from English but the question I would really like to ask is would it be OK in writing informal Spanish other than the formal way, for example I would write it like this: INFORMAL: Ver vos posterior. FORMAL: Hasta luego. Please help me.

Please note that it is mandatory on this forum to use correct spelling, grammar, and capitalization in your posts.

It would be nicer if you start out with - Well, I'm young - etc. vs Hell I'm young. - Zoltán, OCT 8, 2009

It depends on who you are and who is reading. I don't write formal spanish...I don't see any need for it, personally. Others feel otherwise. I don't tend to look at somone's writing or speaking style, I just try to "get" what they are saying. My personal feeling is just write how you writte, and in the habit of doing so, you will get better. I don't because I want people to understand what I'm saying, I'm not demonstrating how well I use spanish. wink Most people here write in the tu form...I only write the usted form when someone gets on my nerves, which is the same way I speak. wink
