Se me hizo facil?

Question

What does this translate as? I'm not 100% sure. Thanks

Se me hizo fácil.
You could say it means "it was easy for me" but the use of "hizo" coming from "hacer fácil" gives a certain nuance that would mean a little more. "it turned to be easy fo me". Or it "became easy for me".

Se me hizo tarde. Se te hizo difícil. Se le hizo competitivo. Se nos hizo placentero.
Se les hizo dificultoso.

In all these cases there is a slight meaning of a transformation from not being late to being late, from being easy to getting difficult etc.

There could be some meaning similar to "become", "get", "turn!" in English.

Hot wire gave gave a perfect example with another meaning.

I've run into a whole slew of "se me hizo's" today. I think it's a bit idiomatic. Like La clase se me hizo muy larga hoy = The class, to me, was made very long today. Or "Boy the class seemed long (to me) today. That sort of thing.
