The Piano Man is hoped to be recognized eventually (by hospital officials).
It is hoped by hospital officials that someone will recognize the Piano Man eventually.

That is not correct english. "will be hoped" does not make any sense at all.
"Hospital officials are hopeful that someone will eventually recognize the Piano Man."
"Hospital officials have hoped that somebody will eventually recognize the Piano Man."
