There's practically no difference in meaning whatsoever. By adding "a mí", you add a little bit more emphasis in stressing the person who is talking or being talked about...

A mí, = "As for me, ..." in English (at the start of a sentence).

A Sonia, le gusta jugar el tenis = As for Sonia, she likes to play tennis.
