For some reason this doesn't sound right to me, but it is the name of a song by the Gorillaz.

There's not anything rude about it around these parts. It's a fairly common salutation among friends. Que pasa contigo isn't any different than "que la que?" around here. I don't think it'd be rude to a stranger, just a little wierd that you'd be suddenly so conocidoso to a stranger! wink

So if I use this I won't get punched in the mouth? I don't like getting punched in the mouth. - Seitheach, Oct 2, 2009

A mi no me pasa nada. ¿Y a ti?

Me pasa que eres gilipollas (por ejemplo)

Y ya lo siguiente nada bueno. :D

lol

Un saludo!

Would it be "What's up with you?" or "What's with you?" or something to that effect?

It's grammatically correct, but I haven't ever heard it actually used.

i agree with the first answer by liloman. it is grammatically correct but comes out as rude, especially when you say it to a person you are not close friends with.
