Generally, all teachers, Master teachers, professors, conductors, are all known as maestros. wink, even the boring ones. If someone is watering a dead plant, you might say, Muchas gracias, Maestro. Le agredezco, maestro is also a good one (my wife loves it to death with I drop that one one her). Also reserved for someone who just goes on one paragraph too long! wink

maestra or maestro will also work.
