Limit to reputation points?

Question

I just noticed that I was voted up on a number of things an that I´m earning zero reputation points on them. Is there a ceiling limit as to how many one can earn? I´m not that learned yet!

You can earn up to 200 points daily. If you have not exceeded that limit on any given day, I'm not sure what the problem is. I have been earning zero points when I vote for the questions and answers of other users, although you are supposed to receive one point per vote. Once in awhile, I will receive one point when I vote, but the most I ever receive in a row is usually three or four points. I have never had any problems when others are voting for me, though.

I'm sorry you are having problems, this has been a mystery for awhile.

Yes, there is a limit of 200 rep points per day. You can begin earning them again in 24 hours.

Yeah - they say it is 200 per day, and max. 10/day for voting someone else... However some other rules must apply, as I don't get any points since days for voting others. I wonder what kind of magic applies here
