I am a new beginner at speaking spanish. But I won't truly learn it if I don't practice it. Can anyone out there help with dialogue?

Welcome, we all need help practicing to some degree. I'm in the same boat with you. There is a chatroom; I haven't used it yet, but that might be a great way to start conversing and that way you might reinforce your spelling. In the forum, it's easier just to have folks edit what you're trying to write/say. You may also become a fan on Facebook and meet other Spanish Dict fans there. That is another route where you can work on chatting. Also, many communities have "Spanish tables" or "Language tables" that meet weekly at coffee houses or in student centers (if you're near a college).

Hola Nina y bienvenido a la "forum". grin

You are so right. You're taking a very intelligent approach. What are you looking for, a chat partner? That would be a great idea.

I have CDs I listen to, and of course I talk in Spanish to myself when I am driving. (And I don't really care what other people think about it!)

But to have someone to actually converse with would be great. We used to have video chat. Whatever happened to that?

Don't worry what others think while you are driving in the car. With today's technology, you may have an ear plug or bluetooth on. Who cares about them. Now, what about the spanish dialogue. Do you have time to go through some? - ninasantamarina, SEP 29, 2009
