How to say monetary values?
Please, I want to know how to say money. Not like, the word, but values. For me, I would say, "The bread costs a dollar fifty. ($1.50)" I want to know how to orally say money amounts in Spanish both gramatically correct and how people would casually say it. Obviously, formally, I would say, "The bread costs one dollar and fifty cents." I don't want this just translated, but a few different examples would be great. Thanks.

How you say it depends on which country you are in. Would you be using dollars, euros, pesos? If you are interested in being grammatically correct when speaking about money, you will need to have a firm grasp on all numbers.
If you are able to look at a monetary value like 4,325 pesos or dollars for example and say it without having to rack your brains, you have more than half the battle won. For example, if you can look at that number and think cuatro mil, tresciento veinticinco. Then all you have to do is to plug in the monetary terminology for the country you are in. (eg. "The souvenir costs cuatro mil, tresciento veinticinco pesos.") So in my opinion, learning your numbers is one of the best things you can do. ![]()

1.50 euros: uno con cincuenta, un euro cincuenta. There are mane ways to say it. You can say it the same way you say in english.Formally you would say: un euro con cincuenta centimos, but we don't use it daily
