It means to be very, very angry. If it were a woman who is ticked off, she would be "trina" of course

Por eso, ¿puedo decir "Estoy que trino porque no cumplió su promesa" ? - peterpierre2, Sep 26, 2009

I'll give you one of my secrets, as long as you promise not to tell anyone! I'm forever running into words I don't know. If they are spoken to me and I never heard it, I keep a mental note. If I read something and I never seen something, I put it to paper until a later time. Lots of words aren't in the dictionary, it's just how it is. Same as in english. I like to use Urbandictionary.com. Spanish, like english, changes so fast. And since I am american, and most of my friends are latino of some sort or another, I have to find a way to keep up, without looking like Mr. Dorkwad, so that's what I use. Try it! You may find your word! wink

I saw the phrase in a multiple choice test to determine a student's level of Spanish prior to the start of the language course. It's very annoying that they don't give you the answers of the test afterwards. - peterpierre2, Sep 26, 2009
