Which way is more common for saying, "My name is....."

La forma mas común, las mas natural, es "me llamo". I call myself...tal cosa. The implication being "my name is" "they call me" Don't hang on the strict translation of the words...it's just how spanish is spoken. wink

I would say that the most common one is: "Mucho gusto, mi nombre es Ricardo". Otras formas aceptadas de saludar serían: "Hola, mi nombre es Ricardo y, ¿el suyo?", "Hola, mucho gusto soy Ricardo"
