Yo voy estar a tu lado hasta la quince...I'm going to be at your side (with you) forever.

Now there is a saying for you! Never heard this in my life, jeje LOL

Where is this used? Any saying like this in English?

The 15th hour is 3pm. This doesn't make any sense. - 005faa61, May 15, 2010
maybe they start the party late at night and don't leave until 3 in the afternoon the next day, :)? - MeEncantanCarasSonrisas, May 15, 2010
Maybe it would be clearer to say something like "15o'clock", rather than the 15th hour... - aceydoubleyou, May 15, 2010

hi

Hasta las quince means hasta las 3 p.m., in 24 hours format. Is used on militar, policial and other areas. las catorce son las 2 p.m. (12+2); las veintitrés son las once p.m. (12+11) etc.

It's a everyday thing people say...kinda slangy, very puerto rican. I would say Amo tanto este pagino...yo me quedo aqui hasta la quince. wink

We have some involving numbers, like:

"dressing to the nines" similar in meaning to "getting all dolled up".

Dressing in formal or extravagant attire to go out for an evening, if you're not familiar with either saying.
