"tu ere s boriqua o es q quieren q lean par"

You are Puerto Rican or is it that they want it to be so.

The last bit is a guess. Any other input out there?

Se usa "Boriuen" para que no les llamn criolo. Mucha gente se fueron a Puerto Rico durante la guerra civil de ESp. - worldtraveler281, FEB 21, 2011
...quieren que lean par = they want them to read a couple? lol Or maybe par is para and part of the sentence has been chopped off. - webdunce, FEB 21, 2011

Boriqua is a person from Puerto Rico. Before Christopher Colombus changed the name to Puerto Rico, the island was named Boriquen. Thats why Puerto Ricans call themselves Boricuas, in honor of our ancestors.

Boriqua

A Puerto Rican. Be it male or female

From Puerto Rico, derived from Boriqua the original name of Puerto Rico before the spaniards came to the island.

A person who was BORN in Puerto Rico.

It is thought those of Puerto Rican heritage born in continental USA don't count.

I was born in Puerto Rico, therefore I am Boriqua

I am from the Bronx, therefore I'm Boriqua de corazon
