Why is this sentence incorrect? Focusing on (ver), i think this is how it should be conjugated: Él se preocupará por el calentamiento global después de vea con sus propios ojos lo que ocurre." However, the homework says this is incorrect.

después de ver..... You would used the infinitive after the preposition. It usually functions as a noun, many times a gerund.
...after [seeing with his own eyes what is happening.] [noun clause]
If you want to conjugate the verb you need to do so in a subordinate clauses beginning with a relative pronoun...que vea con sus propios ojos...but you can't use one after the prepositional phrase.
