Hi Prtata. Welcome to the forum. grin

Here's a lesson on where to put Spanish accent marks.

Most of the time, if you just ignore the accent and say the word out loud to yourself as if you'd never seen or heard it before, you will find out for yourself where the natural accent falls. If you say miercoles out loud the accent will naturally fall like this: mi er CO les. So, since you know that the word is actually pronounced Mi ER co les, you need the accent to move the accent to the second syllable.

Wait for the other shoe to drop. How do I know how to pronouce it without the accent mark? - 0074b507, Sep 16, 2009
Q- if you don't know how to say it or spell it, then you don't know the word. So no need at that point. - Goyo, Sep 16, 2009
