I'm having a hard time with object pronouns
I thought "te" was a direct object pronoun but I saw it used where it is clearly an indirect object pronoun. What gives and how can you tell them apart?

The Direct Object Pronouns are:
me, te, to, la, los, las, nos os
The Indirect Object Pronouns are:
me, te, le, les nos, os
Me and Te are both direct and indirect object pronouns. You distinguish them by context.
Look at Learn Spanish section 2.3. Paralee does a fantastic job at explaining this concept. Good luck.
