Marianne's answer is brilliant, I'd just like point out that I've noticed - after a long time of having made natives all over the Spanish-speaking world angry at me - that "enojado/a" is more used in Latin America, while "enfadado/a" is more used in Spain.

wink

I'n not going to buy that - and you surely seldom have ever made anyone mad at you at all! ... - Janice, Sep 13, 2009

¿Estás enfadado con mí?

This is a shot in the dark. I did notice a few idioms that looked good using the word mad so,

to be mad about--- tener locura por. Tiene locura por el juego de fútbol. He's mad about the soccer game.

to get mad---enfadarse; Se enfadó. She/He got mad.

to look mad---tener cara de enfado. Tiene cara de enfado. She/He looks mad. (could've used this one when I was growing up with either one of my parents).

Hope this helps.

You cannot us "es" in these circumstances to describe a feeling. - --Mariana--, Sep 13, 2009
Oh that's right. e.g., estoy cansado, estás aburrido, etc. FEELINGS with estar not ser. Thanks. - Jason7R, Sep 13, 2009
...nor do I think you can say "con mi"...but rather you must say "conmigo"...I think... - Janice, Sep 13, 2009

Hi Jason

I think it would be - está enfadado conmigo.

Alternatively - ¿te he ofendido? (informal)

Thanks Eddy, I like your alternative as well!! Thanks for everybody's patience!! Can't believe I forgot the rules for ser and estar. :) - Jason7R, Sep 13, 2009
Just when I think I've got the rules fully memorized I'll say something like "estoy voluntario!" - --Mariana--, Sep 13, 2009
