Subject, verb, and adjective agreement

Question

THere are actually two questions here.

1. I think I have the subject and verb agreement down but...

When the subject is plural, does the adjective need to be plural?

For example, when I write a sentence such as

-Los zapatos están blanco y verde- should it be blancos y verdes?

1. While I´m at it, is Estar the proper verb to describe the shoes or should it be Ser as their appearance will not change?

Adjectives must match the nouns that they modify in number and gender.

Don't use the permanent/temporary rule for deciding whether to use ser or estar. It is too general and has too many exceptions. Check the reference section on using Ser and Estar.

The shoes are such and such a color. What if I dye them or change my color of shoe polish or spill paint on them? Is color permanent? Ser is the right verb. Read about CID in the reference section and see why.
