what does mamadre mean?

My family has always called our mother mamadre but she says that isint a word. She is curious as to what it means if it is a word. Please Help, thanks.

It sounds like a combination of mamá and madre. You might wish to read this poem using it for "madrastra."

It means Mum or Mother. Your family probably got it from mamá.
