did I use the correct verb for necesito and trabajo

Trabajo - Maybe

If you are trying to say that you don't work then you are fine with your sentence except that you could probably do without the Yo.

If you are trying to say that you don't have a job then you are better off saying something like:

Necesito mas dinero pero no tengo un trabajo
