Hi, i'm Sarah. what grade are you in? I just started learning spanish last year so i know a years worth.
Getting a spanish speaking friend is a good idea, but if you're worried about getting high marks in class just make sure you complete and understand lessons 1 through 2 on this site, that will make you set probably for the next three years of spanish that you would learn on the high school level. Or at least it would if you live in the U.S.
Also, remember, forest is "el bosque."
Hey, a piece of advice. If you DO decide to do the lessons on this website and go past whatever you're learning in class, I would suggest NOT using any of your 'advanced' knowledge in any of your writings. Like, let's say that the teacher asks you guys to write a little essay and you haven't learned the future tense yet but you learned it from this site - don't use the future tense.
I only say that if you want to stay in lower level classes. If you start using more advanced stuff, they might bump you ahead. Which IS a good thing, but if you're trying to take it slow and don't want that to happen..you know what to do.

I'll be your spanish buddy, but I don't talk a whole lot of "standard" spanish...you'd probably get in all kinds of trouble with what I'd teach you!!!! Hit me up at lkpuede@gmail.com.
