"Soy de... (Estados Unidos, México, España etc.) ¿De dónde eres (tú)? o ¿De dónde es (él, ella, usted etc.)?

To say where you are from, you would say where you live. So I would say, "Vivo en los estados unidos" (I live in the United States). Or you could say, "¿Dondé vives?" (where do you live?). You could also say, "¿Dondé vive?" (where does he/she live?) But if you want to say where you are from, you could say, "Yo soy de......" (I am from.....). You could also say, "¿Dondé eres de? or ¿Dondé es de?" (where are you from? or where is he/she from?)
