If you've been watching the videos here, when Paralee says "te toca" it means that it is "your turn". Think of it like the game of "Tag". When I touch you, then you are "it"

That's why I asked for some context. As you know, it can mean several things, including play on a musical instrument. Maybe its another homework question and we'll never hear from the person again? - --Mariana--, Aug 25, 2009

Quentin, dunce corner for you!! "te tocas" it means that it is your turn.Te tocas = you are touching yourself (subject: you) te toca = it's your turn (subject: esto)

I didn't mean to edit your post. Sorry. I'm getting too used to editing titles. I meant to respond in my own separate reply.

Darn. Now I deleted my response.

I had noticed and corrected myself before I read your correction so I'm staying out of the corner (for the moment).

Can you give us some context? Do you have the sentence in which you found the word?

"Toca" is derived from the Spanish verb "tocar," which can be found in the dictionary (with examples of its usage).
