Pronunciation of c.
I have been studying Spanish for a trip to Madrid and Riojo. I was watching some video from Madrid. I noticed that they pronounce words spelled with a c with tongue protruded, making it sound closer to th. I don't hear that on Paralee's videos. Is this a variation throughout Spain or is it more regional?

In Spain, except in some parts, mainly the south, ce and ci have the "th" sound of "thin" in English. In many parts of the south of Spain, and everywhere else, the sound is simply an "s".
