Formalities With Possessive Pronouns
I'm not sure if this has already been addressed or not, so sorry if it has. But, this last year I took Spanish I in high school, and one of our textbook vocabulary pages listed the phrase "El gusto es mío," the pleasure is mine. Could I also say "Mi gusto", for just "my pleasure"? If so, would that be a less formal way of saying it? Just curious!

I understand what you are saying. When we English speakers are too lazy to form a complete sentence we just grunt out some abbreviated phrase. Here, however, I would think rather than 'mi gusto" you would probably shorten it to "gusto mío. Neither is probably acceptable (I hope), but let's hear from someone that actually knows. You do hear retorts like "un placer" in the chat room, but what don't you hear there?
