The most frequently used in basic daily conversation are: Ser and Estar--to be
Ir--to go
hacer--to do/make
dar--to give
creer-- to believe
tener--to have

Those are the most commonly used in my opinion. There may be a couple others that are right up there with it that I cannot think of right now.
