Surely you wouldn't say : me voy a cazar, as the personal pronoun isn't required whereas: me voy a casar you would use the personal pronoun as you are using the verb casarse in other words if I said "voy a cazar" you would know that I am going hunting and not going to get married. Ken.

I have a complete list of homophones, but some of the words are very unusual. The problem is that my list is based on Peninsular Spanish, where we differentiate between C and Z. Using the "seseante" variety of Spanish used in America, the number of homophones should be a lot larger. The following pairs are homophones in America, but not in the north of Spain:

  • Me voy a cazar = I am going hunting
  • Me voy a casar = I am going to get married

P.S. I've included as homophones those words with identical C/Z, and the list has gone from 499 to 961 homophones.
