How would I ask for ducting extension pipe for my portable aircon?
I have not been able to get a translation for "duct" or "ducting".
It is the expandable hose that goes from the back of the air conditioner or tumble dryer to the window opening or hole in the wall to let the hot air out.
I need to order several meters of this and am stumped as to where I start to look.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Colin

Great, thank you.
The general term is "tubo", and the typical flexible one used for washing machines and air conditioners, "tubo corrugado".

I resorted to having a picture with me and going into places and showing them that, I may be on the track and when I get it I will know...
I suspect it is conducto + a variation on 'tube' + 'flexible'.
Thanks for going to the effort.
I also found what I wanted on eBay:

ducto or conducto is the term that I see for duct (conducto de aire), but you might try some alternate terminology if you can't express it properly. I've seen that part called an exhaust hose or dryer vent hose.
