Is there a reason that I cannot add a comment?
When I try to add a comment in a thread, I find a long, narrow pink rectangle at the top of the page with a little apology telling me that there has been an error in my post....Oh my, have I been barred? Or is this simply a kink with the new website to be worked out?

On the day I had the problem, I used Chrome and Internet Explorer both 7 and 8 (on two machines).
However, I can now comment again.
Thanks to whomever has fixed the problem.
What exactly does the error message say? It's possible that you've been banned, but it seems highly unlikely. (I can't check right now... I think you're probably safe. ) Or does it say your comment looks too spammy? We do have a spam filter in place that tries to automatically detect spam....
But between you and Rocco, it sounds like there's a bug. We'll look into it, of course. What browser are you using? The site typically works best in Firefox and Chrome, and should work just as well in Internet Explorer 7 or 8, although we've had a couple problems there. If you're using Internet Explorer 6, I strongly recommend that you upgrade to a more modern browser (if at all possible).
I reported this problem earlier today. When I click on the word "Comment," I get a pink box at the top of my screen saying, "There was an error posting your comment." I am also having trouble with the voting.
Also, when I vote on a post, I am taken to a blank screen with a small number (what should be the new vote total) in the upper right hand corner. I then have to redirect my browser to SpanishDict.com's main page.
