Hi, I have been studying Spanish for about 6 months, but still I can't speak "rr" sound well...

I have searched many ways to try out, but none of them have not worked.

If you have your method, please share with me. Thanks grin grin grin

The rr sound is the most difficult part of Spanish pronunciation. It takes practice. It took me about 2 weeks of self-practice to make my tongue flap decently so then I could make that sound anytime I read it. It´s still tricky to pronounce words like farrocarril as quickly as a native would. LOL

It is really simpe sound, it just has a long rolling "R" sound. For exmple: "Perro, Zorro, o Carro"

I was taught to put the toungue lightly behind the front teeth and blow out letting the air cause the rolling or flapping. I practiced by repeating the phrase: "Que rapido corren los carros del farrocarril." tongue rolleye

(edit ...I mean ferrocarril....d'oh!)
