In English, "shall" is classified as an auxiliary verb to indicate the future tense of a verb that comes after it. In Spanish, the future tense is expressed by an inflection of the verb.
An auxiliary verb, or helper verb, is a conjugated verb that comes before a main verb and determines the main verb's tense, mood, or aspect (e.g. I have gone.).
En el inglés hablado, y en el escrito en estilo coloquial, el verbo shall se contrae de manera que I/you/he etcshall se transforman en I'll/you'll/he'll etc. La forma negativa shall not se transforma en shan't.
