A word of phrase used to refer to the second person informal “tú” by their conjugation or implied context (e.g. How are you?).
a. I don't understand what you're saying
No te preocupes, si no entiendo lo que dices, te pediré que lo repitas.Don't worry. If I don't understand what you're saying, I'll ask you to repeat it.
b. I can't understand what you're saying
¿Podrías hablar más alto y más claro, por favor? No entiendo lo que dices.Could you speak louder and more clearly, please? I can't understand what you're saying.
c. I don't understand what you say
Cuando utilizas esa jerga técnica, no entiendo lo que dices.When you use that technical jargon, I don't understand what you say.
d. I can't understand what you say
La mayor parte del tiempo, hablas tan deprisa que no entiendo lo que dices.Most of the time, you speak so fast that I can't understand what you say.
