A feminine noun is almost always used with feminine articles and adjectives (e.g. la mujer bonita, la luna llena).
1. (quality of being mediocre) a. mediocrity Eugenia es una jefa muy exigente y desprecia la mediocridad. Eugenia is a very demanding boss and despises mediocrity. 2. (non important person) a. nonentity Ese tipo es una mediocridad y no le veo ningún futuro en la empresa. That guy is a nonentity and I don't think he has a future in the company. b. mediocrity Los padres de Alberto lo empujaban para que no fuera solo una mediocridad.
