1. (to expel air from the lungs)
a. to exhale

b. to breathe out

2. (to emit)
a. to give off
Las velas aromáticas espiran olor a vainilla.The aromatic candles give off a vanilla smell.
3. (to expel from the lungs)
a. to exhale
La oruga espiró el humo del narguile y me preguntó quién era yo.The caterpillar exhaled the smoke from the hookah and asked me who I was.
b. to breath out
Aspira el vapor por la nariz y espíralo por la boca.Breathe the vapor in through your nose and breathe it out through your mouth.
